Socks and Boots

7th May 2021

Socks and Boots are cats born on the 11th of May 2019. We adopted them in July of the same year. Honestly, I have no clue if this is right but I am pretty sure they are tabby cats.

They don't really coexist any more like you can see in the photo above. Now, they can't even be in the same room most of the time without fighting, lol. But! They do still get along, they don't hate eachother. Especially when getting their dinner, they groom eachother and chill out together very well. They are both girls!

Socks

11th May 2026

Socks is my baby. Ever since I can remember (which, in all honesty, is not that long but I have memory issues so it's ok) Socks has been attatched to my hip. We have the strongest relationship known to man. She grooms me ALL THE TIME. She constantly sleeps on my bed. Everytime she comes inside, she meows and meows at the top of her lungs whilst running towards my location. She does this one thing where she basically attacks my hair on my scalp with her teeth and claws as a way to DO MY HAIR. SHE'S A HAIRDRESSER. I LOVE HER.

13th March 2026

In my personal opinion, Socks is most definately the serious one out of the duo. She has always got such a serious expression, and she is very photogenic.

One problem with Socks is she seems to always be sick. She's had a lot of problems with UTIs and such, but luckily, she's still here!

Boots

25th January 2026

Boots. Is. CRAZY. Her form of showing love is literally nibbling on your fingers what is she even doing. She doesn't really hang out with me, but she snuggles in my mum's bed in the mornings and it is adorable. She loves stinky things. I mean this in the most literal way, she likes sniffing feet and hangs around bins. Although, she loves sitting on my chair. We play a game where I pat her butt and she goes feral on my chair until she inevitabley falls over and the tummy tickling ensues.

26th January 2025

Her meows don't sound like meows at all. It's probably closer to a chirp than a meow, she sounds FERAL. She loves food, usually eating both her food and Socks' food. Socks allows it too lol. I mean to be honest she does legitametly have brain damage but that one wasn't my fault.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get good pictures of her. Boots is constantly jittering about and running around. She has permanent post poop zoomies. When she was younger, we used to play with a laser pointer with her and she'd pant like a dog it was adorable.

Smudge and Smoosh

19th April 2021

Smudge and Smoosh were technically my Grandma's cats, but I lived with her for 8 years so they're my cats too.

Smudge and Smoosh were brothers who were far too nonchalant for little ol me. Okay that makes it sound like I didn't like them. I LOVED THEM. They were my first pets and I adored them so much.

Also apparently I don't have any photos of Smudge like wth.

Smudge

Smudge was a tuxedo cat who was very stubborn. From what I remember, he was more attatched to my mother rather than anyone else. I used to try to pick him up, since he was lighter than Smoosh, but he would scratch me. He was very mean lmao.

Smudge died in November 2019, and it was very dramatic when he did, and it was before Smoosh. All of his life, Smudge had a heart disease, which I didn't know until he had to take medicine for it again. However, I don't think he appreciated these pills hiding in his food, and so he ran away. The next I heard of him, my Grandma got a phone call explaining that he had passed away.

Smoosh

30th December 2020

Smoosh had always been a lap cat. He was a chubby black cat who was very quiet and FLUFFY. After Smudge died, he became even more lazy. He always lazed around on people's laps or on surfaces. He was easy to miss, especially since he was just a black blob with eyes.

8th June 2021

Smoosh died on the 17th of February 2023 from old age. This one hit a little harder since I can remember it better. We still feel his prescence in my Grandparents' house.
